Poker is a game of chance and risk where players bet chips on their chances to win. The game has dozens of variants, but in all cases the basic rules are the same. The game is played with a standard pack of 52 cards. Usually the deck includes the suits of spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs (although some games use different suit configurations). Aces are high, but lower than any other card. A poker hand must contain five cards and the highest one wins.
